Therapy Intensives

You do not need more insight. You need interruption.

A focused therapeutic experience for people who understand their patterns but still feel stuck repeating them.

This work is for the part of you that knows the cycle, can explain the cycle, and still finds yourself pulled back into the same emotional loop.

When insight is not enough

You can understand the pattern and still repeat it.

Many emotionally aware people know why they react the way they do. They have processed, reflected, journaled, and talked through the same themes. But the nervous system does not always change because the mind understands.

You understand the pattern and still repeat it.
Therapy has started to feel like maintenance instead of movement.
You leave sessions feeling understood, but not always changed.
Your nervous system keeps returning to what feels familiar, even when it hurts.

Insight is not the same as change

Many people already know where their patterns come from, why they react the way they do, and why they stay in certain dynamics. But awareness alone does not always create movement.

Patterns live in the brain and nervous system

You do not repeat painful cycles because you are weak. Often, your brain and nervous system are returning to what feels familiar, predictable, or protective.

The work is interruption

This experience is designed to help you recognize the cycle underneath the cycle and begin practicing different responses with more clarity, flexibility, and support.

What this is

Focused deep work for the cycle underneath the cycle.

Therapy Intensives create a structured therapeutic space to understand what your brain and nervous system learned to do in order to survive, and how those responses may now be limiting the life you are trying to build.

  • Focused short-term therapeutic experience
  • Three weekly 90-minute sessions
  • Preparatory materials before the first session
  • Reflection prompts and between-session practices
  • Personalized roadmap for continued growth
  • Private pay only
  • Total investment: $525

Who this is for

For people who are aware, reflective, and still stuck.

This experience may be a fit if you are ready to look beneath the coping strategy and understand what keeps the pattern alive.

  • Have done therapy before but still feel stuck
  • Intellectualize emotions or overthink constantly
  • Repeat relationship patterns that feel hard to interrupt
  • Feel emotionally aware but struggle to create behavioral change
  • Notice people pleasing, perfectionism, avoidance, or self-criticism
  • Want deeper focused work without open-ended weekly therapy right now

What you gain

Movement, not just more processing.

The goal is not to fix who you are. The goal is to understand who you became to survive, what no longer belongs to you, and how to begin choosing differently with support.

  • Clarity around what drives your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors
  • A nervous-system-informed understanding of why certain behaviors feel necessary
  • Language for the protective patterns you developed to survive
  • Evidence-informed tools for interrupting cycles that no longer serve you
  • Practice moving from insight into action, not perfection
  • A grounded plan for continuing the work after the experience ends

Session focus

Three sessions designed to move from awareness into interruption.

Session 1

Understanding the pattern

We identify the recurring emotional and behavioral cycle, clarify the beliefs underneath it, and explore how it shows up as anxiety, overthinking, people pleasing, perfectionism, over-responsibility, or self-criticism.

Between sessions, you complete a guided reflection to deepen awareness of how the pattern appears in daily life.

Session 2

Why the pattern persists

We look at the role of the brain and nervous system in maintaining protective behaviors. This helps you understand why strategies that once helped can later keep you stuck.

Between sessions, you use a simple tracking exercise to notice triggers, thoughts, emotions, and protective responses without judgment.

Session 3

Interrupting the cycle

We focus on shifting your relationship to thoughts, reducing reliance on protective behaviors, and practicing changes that support flexibility and confidence. You leave with a personalized plan for continued movement.

Preparation

We begin before the first session.

Brief preparation helps us move quickly and intentionally once we are together. It also gives shape to the pattern you most want to understand and interrupt.

  • A psychosocial questionnaire
  • A personal timeline highlighting key experiences
  • A short written reflection describing the pattern you most want to interrupt

The heart of the work

Healing is not just understanding the cycle. Healing is learning how to stop automatically returning to it.

This is a grounded, experiential process for people who want depth, clarity, and a more active path toward change.

Ask About Therapy Intensives

Frequently asked questions

Is this therapy?

This is a focused therapeutic experience, not traditional open-ended psychotherapy. It is informed by clinical knowledge and evidence-based approaches, but it does not replace ongoing therapy or crisis-based mental health care.

How is this different from weekly therapy?

Weekly therapy is often paced over time and can be open-ended. This work is structured, intentional, and focused on understanding and interrupting a specific pattern over a short period.

Who is this intensive best suited for?

This experience is ideal for people who:

  • Have insight but still feel stuck
  • Feel caught in recurring emotional or behavioral cycles
  • Want deeper focused work without open-ended therapy right now

Do I need prior therapy experience?

No. Prior therapy can be helpful, but it is not required. This experience can support people beginning this kind of work and people who have already done therapy but feel ready for a more focused process.

What kinds of patterns can this help with?

Common focus areas include anxiety patterns, overthinking, people pleasing, perfectionism, avoidance, self-criticism, relationship cycles, emotional overwhelm, and survival-mode responses.

What is required before we begin?

You will complete brief preparatory materials, including a questionnaire, a personal timeline, and a written reflection on the pattern you want to interrupt. This helps our sessions become focused and meaningful from the start.

Will I receive tools or homework?

Yes. You will receive practical tools, reflection prompts, and between-session practices. These are designed to build awareness, flexibility, and interruption, not perfection.

What happens after the intensive ends?

You will leave with a personalized roadmap for continuing the work independently. Some people integrate what they learn into daily life, while others may bring the work into ongoing therapy or other support.
