Angela Gallo, a licensed independent clinical social worker, embarks on a unique exploration at the intersection of art and therapy. With a background in fine arts and a degree in Art Therapy, Angela's return to the canvas marks a significant milestone after years of hiatus. In her exhibition, 'Art as Therapy', Angela delves deep into what art as therapy truly means on multiple levels. This body of work not only embodies the biological and physiological dimensions of therapy but also serves as a profoundly therapeutic experience in its own right. Whether it's the fluidity of the paint or the deliberate precision of each stroke of charcoal, both techniques transport the artist, Angela, into a therapeutic state of flow, where creativity and introspection intertwine seamlessly.
